Hi hi hi! I don't have a whole lot t' say about the big ol' paint war goin' on this month - Andre wouldn't let me play :( - but I do have some BRAND NEW ACHIEVEMENTS! YAY! I had t' take some time thinkin' up real good new Titles for all my fun new friends! Look! Now you can wear 'em around the Forums if you like!
Speakin' of new friends, have you seen the mesmerizing new look for the Spellbound Talion that Scullpanda brought by today? It might be a lil' early for some t' be getting ready for Halloweave, but I think the sooner the better!!! We gotta prepare for all those vampires to be out lurking! I've already begun hoarding garlic under Andre's bed!!

Read More »New Quests: Discovering the Shadow Stage!
For anyone who missed it or is eager to revisit the tale, we've got a new Unique Quest line for you: Discovering the Shadow Stage! You will need to complete the Discovering the Coral Reef Quest line before you can unlock this one, but it is not locked to a specific Remnant.
We are trying out a new format for the Unique Quests to reflect our recently-started change to the Quest pop-up layout. Hourly and Daily Quests will have their summaries in italics at the top of the Quest pop-up, and the bottom section will be purely in-character dialog. Similarly, we've decided to adjust this Unique Quest so that the bottom section will be made entirely of in-character dialog, albeit with no summary above. This is very helpful for lengthy Quest lines such as the Discovery Quest lines, since we've got to fit a lot of content into each Quest! We intend to adjust past Unique Quests to this format sometime in the future as well, to keep everything feeling consistent. This will not adjust your Quest History page, however; I'm afraid the way we record that data is not easily edited en masse so it will simply have to be a thing of the past!

Since the Tattered World has constantly evolving stories and characters, sometimes minor continuity updates are necessary. Accordingly, the following quests have received small edits to their text:
Foreign Fashion
Suspicious Sustenance
The Trees Have Eyes
What's Your Secret
Breaking Bread has also been updated to include more cooked foods as a reward.

It's time for another code update! The battle system is still our big project in the works, but we've got some minor improvements in the meanwhile.

A man's work is never done. Don't worry, Kiddos, despite all the craziness going on, good old Shady won't let you down. I've made sure to sort through all the new stock and have it properly prepared for release. Even the unfortunately colorful items...
So in between helping me out take down the rainbow menace, make sure to stop by the Backstage Broker to check out all these creative new submissions.
I guess I should also remember to plug Club's nonsense... that contest she's running over in the Special Events Contests Forum for the new Clothing Design Contest she has going. Create one new item and up to 10 colors of that item, then compete for your chance to have it added to my store along with all these beautiful options. (Clearly you should include a couple monochrome/black/white/gray recolors to show your support for old Shady.)
